High costs keep childcare out of reach for too many Minnesota families.

These costs force parents to choose between earning income and caring for their kids, hurting family well-being as well as our economy. Many industries are unable to find employees due to a lack of affordable childcare.

Representative Carlie Kotyza-Witthuhn and Senator Grant Hauschild have introduced a plan to provide childcare cost relief to families as early as the fall of 2024.
